Biewer Terrier Sales Contract...
Our babies are guaranteed to be in excellent health when they leave. They are guaranteed for 1 year against any life threatening congenital defects. If one is found, or if death occurs, you must notify me immediately. You will have to provide written documentation from your Vet stating the defect and/or the cause of death. If my Vet agrees, I will replace the puppy. If a puppy is not available at that time, it will be replaced from the next litter born.

All puppies are sold on a spay or neuter contract. You must have the puppy altered by the time it is 6 months old and show proof from your Vet. that this has been done. Registration of the puppy will be withheld until documentation of spay or neuter has been performed. Failure to provide evidence of spaying or neutering before the puppy reaches one year of age will result in additional monies to be owed to seller in the amount of $2,500.00.

We can give you an educated guess as to what the size of the puppy is going to be when it is full grown but there is no guarantee this will be accurate. We cannot tell you whether a puppy will be show quality before it is 6 months old.

We do not guarantee Patella's due to the fact that we will not know the activities of the puppy when it leaves our home. The puppy will be graded before leaving and adjustments depending on the evaluation can be made.

A 50% deposit is required to hold a puppy and is non-refundable. Balance is due when the puppy is picked up, or before it is shipped.

Our babies do not go home until they are 14 weeks old. They will have been started on their Heart Worm prevention, had all their puppy shots, been Vet checked and issued a health certificate at that time. The only shot your puppy will need after you receive him/her is a rabies vaccine. We do not vaccinate nor recommend a rabies vaccine until the puppy is at least 6 months old due to their size. Since your puppy has been fully vaccinated, if you give him/her another vaccination before it's yearly booster is due this contract is void.

You must pick up your puppy by the time it is 16 weeks old, unless prior arrangements have been made to keep it longer.

If at any point in the future you are unable or unwilling to continue to care for the  puppy/dog, you must give me first option to purchase the puppy back at a price to be determined at that time.

This contract is governed by the laws of the state of California and is deemed to be executed and entered into in the State of California. Any dispute arising between the parties hereto concerning the meaning or interpretation of this agreement, or the rights, duties, or obligations of the parties to this agreement shall be submitted to and determined in Mentone, California.
